The annual LBSS Open House is tentatively planned for Sunday, June 2 @ 4:30 pm at the Lake Beulah Yacht Club.
First day of classes - Tentative start date is Monday, June 3. Please review the “Courses” section of this website for the online class registration. You may reach out to Mike Greeson if you have questions.

2023 Awards for RWB and Green Fleets
31st Annual LBSS Opti Regatta - On Monday, June 26, the LBSS Optimist Dinghy Regatta was held for RWB and Green Fleet sailors. This was a great event for both experienced and green sailors to prepare for a summer of sailing fun. Sailors were greeted by overcast skies, but strong breeze.
This year, Lake Beulah’s Mason Keane won all four races in the RWB Fleet, but was pushed by several sailors. Carson Boemer (Cedar) and Jack Plummer (Geneva) finished second and third. Fifty three sailors competed in the RWB Fleet. Results here. Thirty-one Green Fleeters completed. Results here.

X Boat Training Regatta At Pine - "TRAP" - June 18 - 20
Congratulations to B - 125 regarding their first place finish in the Junior Fleet. Five (5) LBSS Junior Fleeters finished in the Top Eleven. Three (3) Senior Fleeters finsihed in the Top Ten. Results here.

2023 LBSS Fund Raiser will be held on Saturday, june 29.
The Lake Beulah Sailing School Board invites you to join us for the LBSS Amazing Race on Saturday, June 29th.
This is a fun night of competition and comradery to support our Sailing School. It’s the only fundraiser held each year to support our Sailing School, (a 501c3 organization). Through the generous support of our yacht club membership and sailing school families we are able to offer our youth and adult sailors an excellent, affordable sailing program.
The event will begin at 4:30 pm at which time each team will receive instructions for the Amazing Race. Everyone boards their assigned pontoon boats and heads to various locations around the lake. At each location games will be completed (sports-themed, yard game, etc.). The games are intended for all ages and skill levels. After the games, it’s back to the LBYC at 7:00 to socialize and enjoy a fabulous dinner by Toothpicks Catering. If you’re feeling lucky you can join in the Head or Tails competition or get a syndicate together for the Horse Race. A silent and live auction rounds out the evening.
The cost of the event is TBD.
Quad Lakes Regatta - cedar lake yacht club - X Class - July 1 - 2
Cedar Lake will host the 2024 Quad Lakes Regatta.
In 2023, Mother Nature challenged the patience of the competitors, but enough wind enabled the sailors to complete two races. Cedar Lake’s Carson Boemer and his crew Jack Schlueter won the event in a three way tie breaker. Finishing second and third were Beulah’s B-99 and B-12. All three boats finished the regatta with eight points.
